Song Recitals in Bristol

Clevedon Music Club is holding a recital on Tuesday February 18th, in the Teignmouth Room at Clevedon Community Centre, Princes Road BS21 7SZ, starting at 7.30 pm, admission for non-members £10 at the door.

The performers are all students of Angela Hickey, a renowned teacher based in Bristol who has trained many of the now-professional singers whose performances we have enjoyed in our recitals.

The music includes many favourite songs and ensembles, including composers such as Vaughan Williams, Handel, Mozart and Fauré.

Louise Geller, who sang as part of the Lunchtime Recital series last year, is bringing the complete set of her show The Comedy of Operas to Bristol later this month.

Louise’s performance has already won critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe and elsewhere it’ll certainly be a great way to spend this once-every-four-years date!
