Emma Winscom, who sang for us in a Lunchtime Recital last year, has written a plea to everyone to ‘keep singing’.
You can read her document here: EmmaWinscom.com. Go to that site and click on the ‘a thought to share’ link.
Emma says “Singing is my heart, my soul, your heart, your soul… We all sing. Everyday, inside ourselves or out.”
And, we guess, just like the virus (which ironically, as Emma points out, attacks the very respiratory system which we require for singing) can spread from person to person, so can singing.
We will keep bringing you songs, arias and other snippets on this site and on our social media outlets.
With thanks to Emma!
